Can we make a reservation?

We do not accept reservations and serve on a first come, first serve basis. If you plan to dine with a group of 20 or more, please let us know in advance so that we can be prepared to accommodate your party. A message on Facebook, an email to information@thenelsonstonebarn.com or a phone call 715-673-4478 will be appreciated. :)


Do you offer a gluten-free crust?

Yes! We have a pre-made gluten-free crust available. It is thicker, and slightly smaller (14" instead of our standard 16" pizza) The pricing is the same. We also now offer a 12” keto crust.


Do we need to bring our own chairs, dinnerware, or utensils?

We provide plates, napkins, forks, and seating, but you are welcome to bring your own dinnerware or water bottle. Feel free to bring your favorite yard game to play in our open terrace.


Are you open to the public when you have weddings?

Yes. Our weddings are completely separate from the restaurant. They bring in their own caterers and have the designated area around the wedding barn for their event.


Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do offer gift certificates! You can purchase one during our open hours, or we can complete the transaction online (we ship you the gift certificate). The minimum amount is $25. We also offer e-gift cards that you can have emailed to you!


Is there usually a long wait for my pizza?

While we try our best to keep wait times minimal, there are times when you may wait over an hour for your pizza. If the weather is perfect and/or it’s a holiday weekend, please plan for a longer wait. You are welcome to bring games to play, visit our gift shop (Alice & Mabel), walk our trails, or visit our friendly goats whilst you wait. Enjoy the beautiful setting and peaceful atmosphere with your family and friends.


Can we bring our own wine?

Sorry, nope. Wisconsin Statute 125 prohibits patrons from bringing their own alcoholic beverages into a restaurant for consumption. All alcohol served in a restaurant must be purchased through a distributor.


When do you open & close for the season?

We are open from May through the end of November, weather permitting. It is snows, we close.


Do I have to leave when you close?

Our posted hours are for the kitchen, and the duration in which you can put in an order for a pizza. Feel free to stay and enjoy your pizza without feeling rushed.


Can we bring our dog?

Ummmm, YES! We are a family of animal lovers. There are three large outdoor seating areas for our four-legged friends. Our only restrictions are that they remain on a leash at all times, stay outdoors, and that you clean up any mess.


Can we pay with a credit card?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards, Apply Pay, as well as cash.


Can I order ahead and dine in?

Shucks, we really appreciate your planning ahead, but we do only serve on a first-come-first-serve basis. You are welcome to call in and place an order to-go. :)


Is your facility ADA accessible?

Yes we are! You are also welocme to pull right up to our door to drop off and pick up. We also have designated accessible parking next to the fence by the restaurant. Our restrooms are also ADA accessible.
